Born and raised in Sparta, New Jersey, Dane Francisco has always had a passion for architecture, art and interior design. Upon studying abroad, Dane visited the iconic Bauhaus, located in Weimar, Germany. There, he realized his desire to pursue an education and career in architecture and design. Dane was on a fast track to accomplish his dream of being in the design world. As an assistant to Matthew Smetana, an established architect in his hometown, Dane was inspired to pursue his early dream and studied for a Bachelor’s degree in the AOP Program of Boston Architectural College. While working in Boston, Dane accepted a position at the Liberty Hotel, a luxury boutique hotel that was redesigned from the historic Old Suffolk County Jail. This position inspired Dane's inner love and appreciation for historical design and home renovation. In 2015, Dane returned to Sparta, New Jersey to work locally in residential design. Before accepting a scholarship for a Bachelors degree in Interior Design from Savannah College of Art & Design to expand into the commercial sector and established Dane Francisco Interiors.
